The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
